I have a tight wedding budget (by choice) has anyone ever bought their wedding dress online?

Oh yeah - I should have mentioned - I do want a white or ivory dress - but it doesn't nessesarly need the "wedding dress" name - could be a white prom dress or very elegant evening gown - I just wnat to love it and not spend alot on it.
