What are the basics of witchcraft?

Is there any gods or goddesess to beleive in. I dont beleive in god or the devil and witchcraft is what I really wnat to do. Ive been to witchvox but I really dont know where to go. I dont really have a way to read the books unless I can read them online. I also beleive in earth air fire water and sprit.I have candles and other things but I dnt have herbs. Please help me because I really want to do it its just I dont have anywhere to start.
