Spiritually Speaking: How important is Jesus or the Flying Spaghetti Monster to you when it comes to politics?

I would vote for someone based on their political standpoints on issues like affirmative action and immigration. I would not put religion into place when voting for someone running for office, I might be hesitant if someone was from a religion that said it is okay to kill people based on their skin color or from a culture which advocated that but other than that religion would not pay a big role.
