Validity of Lease Agreement?

I can see a problem in naming the sister that did not sign the lease and did not move in to the apartment. Since you knew she didn't sign the lease and you named her in a legal action which might negatively affect her credit, she may have a legitimate claim against you for damages. I think you need to speak with a real estate attorney to insure that your actions are both legal and effective.
