What is the difference between an Evangelical and a Fundamentalist?

Evangelicalism stresses personal faith and the authority of the bible; it depends highly on personal experience. Fundamentalism is more doctrine-based and follows a narrowly defined set of principles and dogmas. Fundamentalism is by definition conservative and view those who vary from their doctrines as "heretics"; evangelicals can be conservative or liberal because it's dependent on personal experience and interpretation.
