We are traveling for the first time on a plane with our 8 month old ... any tips?

well a lot of hotels have cribs, so call ahead and and ask. they dont charge to use them either. you could take a pack and play, but think of all the other stuff you'll be carrying? i put my kids in the tub at our hotel, you are washing them after all. but if you cant stand the thought of it, just shower w/ him. tips for the plane?? hm....most babies do best on planes when sleeping. my sis in law swears by baby benadryl, but again if you dont wanna do that, maybe a bottle to lull him to sleep.
